Volunteering
Here at Centrepeace we are reliant on volunteers to run our charity shop and cafe. This is a vibrant and friendly place to volunteer with the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and gain confidence. Whether you want to volunteer to help your employment chances, do some good in the community or make friends we have something for you. You will have the opportunity to undertake training courses, attend team building/social events with the other volunteers. We offer free lunches for those that work all day and discounts in the charity shop.
Cafe
The cafe is manned by volunteers and overseen by the cafe coordinator. There are opportunities to learn to work the coffee machine, help make meals, work the till, take orders and serve customers or simply clear and clean the tables. This is a busy friendly environment with flexible hours, friendly customers and volunteers.
Shop
The charity shop has regular donations of clothes and bric-a-brac to be sorted out, priced stored or put on display. There are opportunities to experience variety of things in the shop and try your hand at different tasks, steaming, sorting, pricing etc.
